LEGO celebrates 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The LEGO Group has shared a graphic celebrating ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hard as it may be to believe, it is ten years since The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man started something that would see Marvel Studios comes to dominate the cinematic landscape, exploiting the new found love for comic book inspired cinema. During that time, Marvel has defined what the successful crossover movie looks like, made household names of characters such as Thor and managed to convince fanboys that Kevin Feige always know best.

It was in 2012 when the LEGO Group and Marvel teamed up for the first time, launching a new theme that would give fans to own their favourite characters as minifigures, building a few vehicles and scenes along the way. Three successful video games have allowed fans to get in on the action with a LEGO twist, containing more unlockable characters than even the most arrogant comic book store owner would know.
