LEGO Christmas Advent Calendars 2019: December 9

The doors of the LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter, City and Friends advent calendars continue to open, with brick based surprises behind each one

Each year the LEGO Group releases a selection of advent calendars to count down the days until Christmas with a small build behind every window. While Star Wars, City and Friends are all back this year, Harry Potter has been introduced to the festive countdown collection for the first time.

Day 9

It would not be a LEGO City Advent Calendar without a snowman, with this version uses the top hat introduced for Penguin in The LEGO Batman Movie theme.

Harry Potter offers a new Quidditch flag, using the same build method as the one from a few days ago.

It is hard to imagine how the Star Wars set is going to top this Luke Skywalker minifigure in the remaining doors, with this version designed to match the outfit the Jedi Master wears for the majority of The Last Jedi. It is completely different to the version in 75200 Ahch-To Island Training and exclusive to the calendar.

Friends offers the classic lampost with wreath and as with so many of the little models so far, it is ready to be hung on the tree.

Check back every day to see what is behind the door of each of the four LEGO Advent Calendars.
