LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration gift-with-purchase officially revealed

The Disney 100 GWP has been officially revealed via LEGO.com, and it includes an exclusive Mickey Mouse minifigure.

Even if you’ve already seen it on the Product Certification page, the new images of 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration are worth checking out to glimpse the set in all its high-definition glory. This 226-piece gift-with-purchase will be available on July 1 to coincide with the VIP release of 43222 Disney Castle.

The set is made up of three small models: the 100 logo with cake and balloons, a drawing desk, and a movie screen with a light-up projector that creates an image of Mickey Mouse. The models can clip together or be displayed separately, and they’re also each designed to hold a photograph or note on the back with a LEGO DOTS piece.

Minifigure collectors should be pleased to know that the Mickey Mouse included in the set is exclusive, with a new torso print. Mickey has a little seat with a popcorn bucket so that he can enjoy the movie being projected by the light brick.

The threshold for this GWP isn’t too high, at only £95 / $100 / €100, but it is only valid on LEGO Disney purchases. So make sure you spend the full 100 in Disney come July if you want this gift – you won’t get it if you split it between multiple themes. Obviously, the timing of this GWP makes it the perfect time to pick up the upcoming 43222 Disney Castle.
