LEGO Hidden Side 70432 Haunted Fairground named Hero Toy 2020

The new LEGO Hidden Side set, 70432 Haunted Fairground, has made the Toy Fair Hero Toys list for 2020.

At Toy Fair 2020, held in London this week, the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) has announced the Hero Toys for 2020. The list consists of 25 toys launched this year, judged by a panel of retailers and the BTHA.

LEGO Hidden Side 70432 Haunted Fairground, which was released a few weeks ago, has made the cut. The set builds a couple of fairground rides that are being haunted, with the clown face dominating the set undergoing a spooky transformation. As with all sets in the theme, it is compatible with the companion app.

“With hundreds of companies from all over the world, launching thousands of new toys throughout the show, the competition to make the Toy Fair’s Hero Toys list is fierce. Judging this year was harder than ever,” says Rebecca Deeming, Public Relations & Events Manager for the BTHA.

“The result, however, is a list packed with innovation, fun, and potentially huge sellers for 2020. Together, they represent the best of our industry and the benefits children of all ages get from playing with quality toys.”

The LEGO Movie 2 70820 LEGO Movie Maker made the list last year.
