LEGO Hidden Side: Face Your Fears short film coming this year
A new LEGO Hidden Side animated short will be part of the theme’s content, titled Face Your Fears, will be coming later this year.
Yesterday saw the LEGO Group hold a panel at San Diego Comic Con 2019 looking at what is coming next from the company. LEGO animation producer Tommy Andreasen was expecting the new LEGO Hidden Side: Face Your Fears short film to be shown, but it wasn’t. Thankfully, the animation expert showed some stills from the short on Twitter.
LEGO Hidden Side will combine physical products with a digital experience, that allows the sets to come to life through a mobile device. Face Your Fears looks like it will introduce the characters and the world, with Jack and Parker discovering the Hidden Side in their hometown, Newbury. Professor J.B., the character in the images with pink hair, is a teacher at their school and helps develop a device that will reveal the ghosts and spooky goings-on that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
The short film is expected to be released on YouTube sometime this year.
LEGO Hidden Side sets will launch on August 1, 2019.
