LEGO Ideas 2023 review expands once more as Humpback Whale hits 10K
Humpback Whale is the latest fan designed creation to crack the 10,000 supporters mark and make it into the first LEGO Ideas review of 2023.
Making a splash in the first LEGO Ideas review round for 2023 is a new fan created design that’s just managed to secure 10,000 supporters. Humpback Whale is the brainchild of Les Briques de Loïc and features a 2,000 piece model inspired by the art of paper cutting to create depth in 2D images, although the LEGO build itself is 3D.
Humpback Whale clocks in at 13 cm wide, 58 cm in length and is 42 cm tall. Les Briques de Loïc hopes that his supporters are as passionate about the underwater world and love nature as much as he does, which is evident in the unique look of the submission. The project now moves on to the next stage, with a LEGO Ideas review board deciding whether the set will ultimately become a physical product at some point in the future.
Here’s your updated guide to every LEGO Ideas project in the first 2023 review, as of January 25.
