LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons reveal date confirmed

The first image of the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons minifigures has been showcased alongside the exact time of the set’s reveal.

A new webpage on LEGO.com all about the upcoming LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set is now live including a countdown and a new image of four minifigures. Following the first two teasers for the model, there’s a bit longer to wait until we’ll finally know more.

According to the countdown, the set will be revealed on March 19 at 5pm GMT or 10am PT. For now, we at least have some minifigure images to enjoy. A silhouetted banner featuring four characters is on the webpage and it has at least one new hair piece.

Featuring pointed elf ears and what seems to be dreadlocks in a bun, the minifigure using this element wields a book. This could mean that they are a wizard, a class that uses books to learn and prepare spells. Dreadlock LEGO hair pieces aren’t too common and we can’t recall any that feature pointed ears. The most recent example is used for Mateo in LEGO DREAMZzz, pictured on the left.

Otherwise, a minifigure holding a shield unlike the one we saw in the first teaser and a sword is featured alongside a hooded minifigure wielding a crossbow. One other appears to be holding the hammer piece frequently used for Mjolnir and most recently used with printing in 21343 Viking Village.

Exactly who these characters are and what classes they represent should arrive this time next week, at least provided that the countdown is for the reveal and not a third teaser.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
