LEGO Ideas review welcomes Coraline: The Pink Palace to the 10K club

Coraline: The Pink Palace is the latest fan-made submission to hit the 10K mark and make it into the third 2023 LEGO Ideas review.

Yet another fan-designed model has managed to drum up 10,000 supporters and enter the third LEGO Ideas review of 2023. Coraline: The Pink Palace follows closely on the heels of the recent WTC Twin Towers & Vista International Hotel 1979, with the latest addition being based on Henry Selick’s 2009 stop motion animated movie, Coraline.

The brainchild of designer Thebigchicken, Coraline: The Pink Palace is a 2,999-piece model of the main location in the film and looks to be a three-storey version of the house. The submission is primarily constructed from grey and pink elements, matching the look of the building that leads to the Other World, a dark alternate dimension populated with button-eyed doppelgängers.

LEGO Ideas Coraline The Pink Palace minifigures

As well as the main house itself, Coraline: The Pink Palace also includes minifigures of some of the movie’s characters, including Coraline, Charlie Jones, Mel Jones, and Alexander Bobinksi.

Those fan-designed submissions lucky enough to make it through the third 2023 LEGO Ideas review will be announced in January 2024, so there’s still time for plenty more models to make it into the mix.
