The LEGO Jurassic World theme has proven surprisingly resilient, with 2022 seeing several new LEGO sets appear. Most of these are inspired by Jurassic World: Dominion, the third film in the Jurassic World trilogy. However, some minifigure choices may make these appealing to fans of the earlier movies too.

The largest LEGO Jurassic World set currently available is 76949 Giganotosaurus & Therizinosaurus Attack. This set has a large price tag to match its long name, as well as characters like Alan Grant and Ellie Satler. As such, it seems like a good choice for a Black Friday discount, particularly as it’s been caught up in the LEGO Group’s price increases.

76948 T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout is another expensive release, including both a pair of dinosaurs, a dinosaur transport vehicle and a generous chunk of scenery. There’s also a variety of minifigures, making this a highly desirable set – particularly with a price reduction.

Another set ripe for a Black Friday discount is 76956 T. rex Breakout. This set takes its cues from Jurassic Park and is on the pricier side. This makes it a prime candidate for a Black Friday price reduction.

The 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park in 2023 saw the LEGO Jurassic World theme get rejuvenated with modern takes on classic sets. The latest wave of sets included fresh dinosaur elements – including the long-awaited 76960 Brachiosaurus Discovery, as well as updated minifigures for beloved original characters. LEGO Jurassic Park anniversary sets have been sitting all shelves for most of the year, so we could well see some attractive reductions around Black Friday 2023.
