LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets showcased in new videos

The features and functions of the upcoming LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion models have been demonstrated in a series of new product videos.

Thanks to their listings on LEGO.com, videos for all three recently-revealed LEGO Super Mario Luigi’s Mansion sets have been made available to highlight how the Luigi controller figure will be able to interact with them.

YouTuber NintendAlerts StationOfPlay has combined the trio of clips into one compilation, offering us a first look at the features of 71397 Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust, 71399 Luigi’s Mansion Entryway and 71401 Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek.

These product demonstration clips also show the new pieces that will be featured throughout the wave, including the overalls in 71397 Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust that can connect to the brick-built Poltergust via four studs as well as a fresh pair of arms for the ghost in that same set.

Notably, the green module found in every build is used to start the course, when LEGO Luigi’s new scared reaction will display on the figure. When LEGO Luigi starts to suck up a ghost, a simple tap on the stickered tile will start the process, requiring you to then move the Poltergust’s nozzle towards the ghost by turning Luigi to capture them and earn coins. Doing otherwise appears to surprise LEGO Luigi.

LEGO Super Mario YouTuber 71397 Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust, 71399 Luigi’s Mansion Entryway and 71401 Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek will all launch on January 1, 2022. LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
