LEGO Monkie Kid continues the legend in LEGO Brawls

The latest theme to cross over into LEGO Brawls is Monkie Kid, with new brawlers and an 80024 The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain level.

LEGO Monkie Kid has arrived in LEGO Brawls as part of a new update, joining the likes of NINJAGO, Hidden Side and Jurassic World into the platforming fighter mobile game, exclusively to Apple Arcade.

Along with the update, Monkie Kid is now the icon for the title. A trailer has been released for the new content, giving us a first look at the gameplay elements, new level and playable minifigures.

Four new brawlers have been added to the game from the theme with Monkie Kid, Mei, Pigsy and the Monkey King all joining the fight. Sandy and Mr. Tang still make an appearance though, with the latter seen at the end of the above trailer as well as another potential brawler and the former as a fresh power-up. A smaller model of 80009 Pigsy’s Food Truck also appears as a power-up.

The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain has been added as an additional level, based on 80024 The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain (review) and complete with the towering peaks and throne. Collecting the peaches will ensure your victory on this stage, with any defeated enemies dropping them as well as being scattered throughout the map.

In other Monkie Kid news, a 2022 set was revealed recently which will see the team taking to the stars with a band of malicious monkeys chasing after them. The theme’s TV show has also started to air on Amazon Prime with the second season arriving on the service as of late.
