LEGO NINJAGO’s 2022 season will have at least 12 episodes

More details for the LEGO NINJAGO 2022 season have been revealed following the announcement of a spin-off Garmadon comic series.

LEGO NINJAGO is confirmed to be continuing through 2022 and into 2023 and part of the 2022 content will at least include a range of comics exploring the adventures of Garmadon, who mysteriously disappeared at the end of a recent season. These novels were unveiled during a livestreamed event where the NINJAGO creator revealed a 2022 episode title in the live chat.

Tommy Andreasen, co-creator of NINJAGO, has now taken to Twitter to correct himself as the teased title does not belong to the stated episode number. While the title of the mistaken episode cannot be named due to spoilers, the 10th chapter will be titled ‘The Benefit of Grief’.

Another result of this correction is that the NINJAGO 2022 TV show season is now confirmed to consist of at least 12 episodes.

This follows previous information from a press release regarding the future of Cole that stated that next year’s chapter would be exploring a mythical aspect of NINJAGO that Cole and several of the other ninja are crucial to.

Current rumours for the 2022 LEGO NINJAGO sets suggest that an enemy faction of fire snakes will feature alongside models recreating classic sets at a smaller, but still detailed scale. However, these have not been confirmed by the LEGO Group and should be treated with caution.
