LEGO NINJAGO summer 2022 rumoured set details

Rumoured details for a summer wave of nine LEGO NINJAGO 2022 sets have appeared online, including potential prices and release dates.

Promobricks are reporting that an upcoming range of LEGO NINJAGO models scheduled for this summer will include nine builds ranging between $19.99 and $139.99.

Following the launch of NINJAGO Core not long ago, which featured evolving creations and sets aimed at a younger audience, the theme is now rumoured to be moving forward with a summer collection that includes a fresh assortment of mechs, temples, vehicles and a crystal king.

Here’s every reported LEGO NINJAGO summer 2022 model, though the source mentions that names in brackets are not confirmed:

71759 4+ Ninja Dragon Temple – $39.99
71768 Jay’s Golden Dragon Motor Bike – $19.99
71769 Cole’s Golden Dragon Cruiser – $39.99
71770 Zane’s Golden Dragon Raider – $29.99
71771 (Dark Temple) – $79.99
71772 The Crystal King – $69.99
71773 Kai’s Golden Dragon Raider – $89.99
71774 (Golden Dragon) – $139.99
71775 Samurai X Mech – $119.99

One rumoured set, 71772 The Crystal King, shares a similar name with the 2009 Power Miners build known as 8962 Crystal King, which featured a single, large brick-built figure made from rocks and minerals.

It is said that the wave will focus on golden dragons, including one with multiple heads. The latter creature sounds similar to the Ultra Dragon, who was last seen in 70679 The Ultra Dragon from 2019. Reports suggest a launch in June.

Treat all rumours, including the above, with caution until an official announcement from the LEGO Group is made about NINJAGO’s future offerings. In the meantime, the Core range of sets recently launched and is currently eligible for a free polybag on the official online store.
