LEGO Overwatch play event and Ganymede build coming to LEGO Stores

Selected LEGO Stores will offer a LEGO Overwatch play event to celebrate the launch of the new theme.

With LEGO Overwatch arriving in January, the LEGO Group wants to make sure fans know that this new theme is on the way. As part of the promotional activity, selected LEGO Stores will be running a play event that includes an exclusive build, the Brick Fan reports. The event is scheduled for January 23 and participants need to sign up to before January 1. It is for children aged between 6 and 14 years old.

The premise of the event is that some of the most beloved Overwatch heroes have been guarding the LEGO Store and left their sprays behind. Children will need to search the store to figure out which characters were there, by finding the sprays and noting down which they have found. When they show their completed checklist to a Brick Specialist, they will receive a free, exclusive Ganymede build.

As the event will not necessarily take place at every LEGO Store, it is worth fans checking with their local branch that it is taking place.
