LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City on general release today

LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City is now available for everyone to buy from official LEGO stores and the online shop.

The latest huge LEGO Star Wars set, 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City, is available to buy now for everyone at A whopping 2,812 pieces make up this £299.99 set, that is the first in the Master Builder Series.

In the first of the Master Builder Series, this set re-creates the beautifully designed location from The Empire Strikes Back, 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City includes all of the key locations – the carbon freeze chamber, the gantryway, the smelting room, the dining hall, the walkway and the prison cell. To compliment the playset, scaled down versions of Slave I and a Cloud Car are included. The LEGO design team has come a long way since the release of 10123 Cloud City in 2013.

This set follows in the style of the revered 75159 Death Star, in that it provides an impressive display model that is packed with opportunities to recreate memorable movie scenes. Fans will be able to see Han Solo interrogated, frozen in Carbonite and then fly away in Slave I – he was having a really bad day, after all.

As well as the sizable piece count, the set includes 18 minifigures. Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in Bespin outfits, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Lando Calrissian, Lobot, two Cloud City Guards, two Cloud Car Pilots, Leia and Han in Hoth outfits, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, two Stormtroopers and an Ugnaught make up the traditional minifigure line-up, with R2-D2 and IG-88 also included.

This new LEGO Star Wars set measures 11cm high, by 19cm long and 18cm wide.

LEGO Creator Expert 10263 Winter Village Fire Station also launched today at the official online shop.
