LEGO Star Wars 75227 Darth Vader Bust now available at Target

If you weren’t lucky enough to both make it to Star Wars Celebration this weekend and win the chance to pick up the very limited 75227 Darth Vader Bust, we have good news for you.

Well, we do if you live in the US, anyway. And if you’re a Target REDCard holder. And if you act fast, because we doubt these are going to stick around long. But if you meet all those conditions, get yourself over to Target’s website, where you can now order Vader’s brick-built bonce.

It may be around for a little while, though, depending on how many are in stock, because Target’s taken the appreciable step of limiting it to one per order.

Just in case, though, we wouldn’t recommend hesitating for too long. The $39.99 set is already fetching over double that price on eBay, and with it unlikely to ever be available anywhere else – and with only 2,500 available at Celebration – that price is only going to go up. So, if you want a copy, act fast.

And if you’re outside the US? Tough luck, unfortunately. We know how you feel. On the bright side, the instructions are available online if you want to build it yourself.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
