Will LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga get even more DLC packs?

There are seven DLC packs included with the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but will there be even more to come?

With the recent reveal of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s final release date came confirmation of seven DLC character packs available with the Deluxe Edition of the game. When originally announced in 2020, the set was to include just six, but we now know we’ll get access to characters from The Mandalorian Season 1 and Season 2, The Bad Batch, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Classic Characters, Solo: A Star Wars Story and the Trooper Pack.

However, this could be just the tip of the iceberg for planned DLC, with even more rumoured content to be added at a later date. Microsoft-focused Twitter user Aggiornamenti Lumia claims the latest build of the game is said to have 20 available options to purchase DLC with. Aggiornamenti Lumia notes that this figure does include bundles and in-app purchases, so it’s unlikely we’ll be getting 13 more DLC character packs on top of what’s already been announced.

Whilst this is in no way a confirmation that more DLC will be available beyond the initial seven DLC packs, it would be interesting to see if any more characters will be added to the game’s already impressive 300+ roster further down the road. For instance, could we potentially see DLC character packs for The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Book of Boba Fett?
