LEGO Technic 42100 Liebherr R R 9800 Excavator available to order
The impressive new LEGO Technic behemoth 42100 Liebherr R R 9800 Excavator is available to pre-order now.
Amazon is taking pre-orders on the delightfully massive, long-anticipated, 4,108 piece LEGO Technic 2100 Liebherr R R 9800 Excavator, ahead of its release on September 15. Those looking to own the set as soon as it is released can place an order now, then sit back and wait for it to arrive.
42100 Liebherr R 9800 utilises the LEGO Technic version of Powered UP, CONTROL+, which includes two new Smart Hubs. Each one can drive up to four engines, with 42100 packing seven engines into its frame in total. The functionality will enable users to drive the model back and forth, steer the vehicle, rotate the body, raise and lower the boom and open and tilt the bucket.
If the piece count does not make it sound big enough, the finished model measures 39 cm high, 65 cm long and 27 cm wide.
The set follow the three new LEGO Technic sets that recently launched:
42097 Compact Crawler Crane
42098 Car Transporter (review)
42099 4×4 X-Treme Off-Roader
LEGO Technic 2100 Liebherr R R 9800 Excavator is available to pre-order now from Amazon.
