The entire LEGO VIDIYO range is 50% off at Zavvi

The great LEGO VIDIYO clear-out continues across third-party retailers, as Zavvi has now knocked 50% off the entire range – including the newly-released summer wave.

That means all eight BeatBoxes can be had for just £8.99 apiece, rather than their retail price of £17.99, while even larger sets including 43114 Punk Pirate Ship and 43115 The Boombox are available for half price (so, £29.99 and £44.99 respectively).

It’s not quite giving VIDIYO sets away, as other retailers have already begun doing with 43101 Bandmates, but it’s still a bigger discount than most other sets and themes ever see while on shelves. And it all really just speaks to how much difficulty retailers are having shifting these products, which has led to the LEGO Group shelving the first result of its partnership with Universal Music Group.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
