New LEGO Back to the Future set impresses on social media, but it might be missing something

The reveal of the new 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine has impressed on social media, but there are some reservations about the LEGO set.

A brand new LEGO Back to the Future model is on the way and it’s by far the biggest yet. Now that 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine has been officially revealed, the details of the build have impressed on Twitter, though there are some wondering if this is all part of an elaborate April Fools’ joke, or that one member of the Time Travelling team might be missing.

Darren Thomas mentioned his excitement for the set, noting that he lives near to the factory where the DeLorean was built in Dunmurry, Belfast. As noted in the tweet, looks like 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine will be heading home for this user.

Milt, known as MiltFire108 asks whether or not the release date of April 1 is a sign that the model is an early April Fools’ joke from the LEGO Group. Thankfully, the LEGO Group’s social media team responded to confirm that it isn’t.

Possibly one of the most interesting responses to the reveal tweet was from Jason, also known as jkmank33 on the platform asks where Einstein is in 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine as the world’s first time traveller has yet to receive a minifigure outside of a digital appearance in LEGO Dimensions.

Whether you want to buy one copy of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine or three to display all versions of the DeLorean, the latest Back to the Future build will go on sale from April 1, 2022.
