New LEGO DOTS book hints at 2021 direction

LEGO DOTS Design Fun is coming to 2021 as an activity book, with the title hinting at where the theme might go next year.

LEGO themes evolve from one year to the next, and it seems that in 2021, LEGO DOTS is going to shake up the colour palette and move away from the pastel and bright colours in the 2020 range. LEGO DOTS Design Fun has been revealed in a new catalogue showcasing next year’s childrens book range, shared by Hoth Bricks.

The book won’t just be a book though – it will be a full creative kit, with 124 DOTS elements, a stencil and four pages of stickers. Those pieces will be able to construct an exclusive peacock build. The peacock is similar to the builds in 41904 Animal Picture Holder.

The advertising blurb next to the book (the catalogue is for retailers) describes; “Trendy, gender-neutral colours and LEGO theme.” The catalogue shows darker blues and more greens than have been seen so far in this year’s sets.
