Today’s build is a hockey goal for the delightful little player from yesterday. The technique used with the lattice fences gives the appearance of a net, even at this scale. An uncommon 1×4 trans blue tile is the icing on the cake.

The stage included behind today’s door in the Friends Advent Calendar cannot be called substantial. It’s nice that the microphone has printing, which the

The parade of generic – and therefore rather useful – minifigures continues with a Hoth Rebel Soldier, sporting some impressive facial hair. Not for the first time, there seems to have been more Hoth Rebels released this year than Snowtroopers.

CITY appears to be mounting a challenge to Star Wars. The great little hockey goal joins our stick wielding winner from yesterday for another point.

When I was 3 years old my dad bought home 6659 TV Camera Crew as a gift — he had no idea what he had just unleashed. Three decades and no dark age later, I am still going strong. My love of LEGO led me to a career in Civil Engineering and I am now raising three budding LEGO lovers with my lovely wife who is, bless her, a huge supporter of my brick addiction. When not writing for Brick Fanatics or fulfilling my duties as the U.S. Editor of Blocks Magazine I enjoy collecting, MOCing, exhibiting, as well as running, climbing and home improvement.
