Perfect LEGO Star Wars pairing on offer at Walmart right now

A perfect pairing of LEGO Star Wars sets are discounted at Walmart right now, offering a shortcut to building out your Republic army for less.

The LEGO Group has gone into overdrive on Clone Wars sets over the past few years, so there’s no shortage of options for budding Clone army builders as we head into 2024. Two of the easiest ways to amass legions of specialist troops – that’s non-shinies – come in 75337 AT-TE Walker and 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack, both of which are currently on offer at Walmart.

75337 AT-TE Walker is down to just $112.99 from $139.99 (a saving of $27), while 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack is available for just $16 – a tidy $3.99 saving on its RRP. Every little helps, as they say, so head over to Walmart to grab your combo of Clone Trooper sets while keeping some extra cash in your pocket for… well, you could always pick up a second battle pack. (You can never have too many clones.)

You’ll get plenty by purchasing just one copy of each of these sets, though, between Commander Cody and three 212th Legion Clone Troopers in 75337 AT-TE Walker and Captain Vaughn and three 332nd Company Clone Troopers in 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack. Chuck in a Clone Gunner and three Battle Droids in the AT-TE, and you’re well on your way to staging a grand Clone Wars battle.

Building up your ranks isn’t the only reason these sets pair well together: the AT-TE is decked out in standard, non-legion-specific colours, so you could easily reappropriate it for the 332nd Company. And if you do want to give it a little visual flair, it’s ripe for customising with blue and orange elements to gift Ahsoka Tano’s squad a vehicle with some serious firepower.

If the orange-tinted 212th Legion are more your thing, you could always just shoot for 75337 AT-TE Walker. But scoring four Clone Troopers for $4 each is a bit too hard to pass up…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
