Rumoured 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute GWP may release in March

A LEGO gift-with-purchase set based on primatologist, anthropologist and chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall is rumoured to be releasing in March.

Following an initial rumour last year and an earlier report from The Brick Fan, YouTuber Brick Clicker is now reporting that an upcoming LEGO GWP based around Jane Goodall could be launching next month. 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute is said to be available from March 3-15, free with LEGO purchases over £120 / $120 / €120.

Promobricks has offered more details on the rumoured set, stating it will be releasing in the same month as last year’s 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute and would also be in the same vein as 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute. The Promobricks report doesn’t mention how many pieces will be included with the set, but does state that 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute will include a minifigure of the award-winning behavioural scientist, as well as three chimpanzees in a small jungle scene diorama.

The set is also said to feature a small plaque that reads, ‘Dr. Jane Goodall’, which is possibly a sticker placed on a separate LEGO piece. If these reports are to be believed, 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute would also be available at the same time as the LEGO Group’s rumoured double VIP points event in March, meaning you’d be able to take advantage of both offers with qualifying spends.

The LEGO Group hasn’t made any announcements regarding the existence of 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute, so consider this purely a rumour for now until we have confirmation.
