As we edge closer to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel and Sony have revealed three new villain-centric posters.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally be unleashed on big screens in most countries on December 17. From the teasers and trailers we’ve seen to date, fans can expect a huge new Spidey adventure that dives deep into the Marvel multiverse and is packed with some very familiar characters.
Three of those are returning villains from previous Spider-Man movies, in the shape of Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx’s Electro. At this stage we don’t know how or why the characters make an appearance in No Way Home, but it’s probably safe to assume it’ll be bad news for Tom Holland’s webhead.
Marvel and Sony have now released three posters that focus on those villains, with each one showing them getting up and personal with Spidey. Surprisingly no poster has been revealed showcasing Rhys Ifans’ Lizard, even though the character does make an appearance in the latest trailer.
So far there are only three LEGO sets available that tie into Spider-Man: No Way Home — 76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio’s Drone Attack, 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop and 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel. It’s not yet known if more Spider-Man: No Way Home sets will arrive in 2022, but the lack of any of the current villains appearing as new minifigures is certainly making us keep our fingers crossed.
