Star Wars: The Mandalorian returns to the small screen next week, when Season 3 of the highly-anticipated live-action series arrives on Disney+. Featuring the continuing adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu, the show will be exploring new corners of a galaxy far, far away, including a visit to Mandalore itself.

Favreau himself recently confirmed that he’d already finished writing Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 4 and that concept art was now being created. In a new interview with Total Film, he went on to say that he hoped the show and the story of the characters would continue beyond even a fourth season.

“I think the beauty of this is that it’s a middle chapter of a much larger story,” said Favreau. “And though we’ll have resolution over time with these characters, I think that how these characters fit into the larger scope and scale, but it’s not like there’s a finale that we’re building to that I have in mind. Quite the contrary, I love for these stories to go on and on. And so these characters potentially could be with us for a while, and I really love telling stories in their voice, and I love the way the adventures unfold and I’m looking forward to doing much more.”

There are a number of LEGO Star Wars sets currently available based on the Disney+ show, including 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, 75331 The Razor Crest and 75328 The Mandalorian Helmet, with rumours suggesting even more models may be released in May.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 will debut on Disney+ from March 1, 2023 for all subscribers, with new episodes released weekly thereafter.
