LEGOLAND Central Station manages to clock up 10,000 supporters

A new fan creation has notched up 10,000 supporters and made it into the first LEGO Ideas review of 2023. The latest submission is LEGOLAND Central Station, a joint collaboration between designers Mind the Brick and Patgeo that’s based on similar European buildings from the early 20th century.

Created as a fully modular set, the luxurious station sits on a 48×40 base and is filled with custom-made furniture and facilities. The roof of the build can be removed for easy access, revealing an interior hall containing brick-built exhibits of the first LEGOLAND trains in miniature form, as well as a ticket booth, Train Master’s grand office, baggage checking room, mailroom and even a WC.

LEGOLAND Central Station also features 13 minifigures to round out the set, each of which has their own unique backstory to further expand the history of the fan-made design.

The latest submission now takes the current list of projects in the first LEGO Ideas 2023 review up to 33, with the results likely to be announced in October.
