Portal LEGO Ideas project reaches first 2023 review

Portal has a chance at another set as the game first seen in bricks as part of LEGO Dimensions has a LEGO Ideas project in the first 2023 review.

The scientifically-named Quantum Tunneling Device or the portal gun for short from Portal 2 is now in the first 2023 LEGO Ideas review round courtesy of Hooded-Blaze, the latest user to enter the 10K club too.

Based on the device used in Portal and Portal 2, the game series’ signature tool can create portals between two locations on suitable surfaces of orange and blue, the colours of which surge throughout this LEGO build.

The portal gun already has a LEGO piece with the Chell minifigure included in the 71203 Portal 2 Level Pack from LEGO Dimensions. The project proposes a scale model of the device, though should it be approved it could be a chance for the minifigure and the smaller piece to return in a LEGO Ideas set.

This submission is now the 32nd project in the first 2023 LEGO Ideas review, continuing a streak of projects reaching 10,000 supporters in the last few days.
