Summer of LEGO Star Wars panel announced for Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars Celebration will have a second LEGO panel to look forward to, naming new sets as a featured part of the summer showcase.

We’ve already reported that Star Wars Celebration 2022 will have a panel based oncollecting LEGO, but it turns out that’s not all that we can look forward to as the reveal of the full schedule includes another titled The Summer of LEGOStar Wars.

The description for this panel states that it will include guests from across consumer products, games and animation across the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm. As well as exploring LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the description also names brand new construction sets.

Whether that is referring to the recently released LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection, 75342 Republic Fighter Tank, 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder or something that we have yet to see is not confirmed.

However, listings and rumours suggest that Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting a range of models as well as another that could be for The Bad Batch. An official announcement for these may be coming at the Star Wars Celebration panel, though they should be treated as rumours until announced otherwise.

The Summer of LEGO Star Wars panel takes place on May 27 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm PST. Those not in attendance at the event in Anaheim, California may see any new set announcements online around that time.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
