The LEGO House is making room for a new experience

Time is up for an older experience in the LEGO House as the destination makes room for a new attraction, sharing a glimpse on social media.

The Critter Creator in the Yellow Zone of the LEGO House has been officially removed from the destination to make space for a brand new experience. However, anyone visiting the home of the brick can still see the Critter Creator in its new home.

The LEGO House team shared a look at the process of removing an attraction on Instagram, with cranes lifting upscaled elements out of the building, taking them to a space at Hotel LEGOLAND at the nearby LEGOLAND Billund resort.

A second post shared about a week later on Instagram gave us our first look at what the replacement for the Critter Creator would be, with giant brick-built speakers and screens as well as cubes filled with more creatures.

This might mean that the new Yellow Zone experience will still invite you to make a custom figure for display on these screens.

No opening date or name for this experience has been revealed at the time of writing, but anyone planning to visit the LEGO House might be able to pick up the most recent exclusive model – 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine – while you are there.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
