Three things we want to see in the rumoured LEGO Batman 76252 Batcave

Rumour of a fully enclosed LEGO Batcave has us wondering what could be included in the reported model based on previous sets.

The Batcave is nothing new for the LEGO Group, but rumour has it that the biggest depiction of the headquarters to date could be launching with 3,981 pieces for $449.99 on June 5, 2023.

This report comes from brick_clicker and it should be taken with caution with nothing more rumoured at this time, other than it being potentially enclosed. We can look at previous Batcave builds to get an idea of what to expect though.

Here are three things we’d like to see in the rumoured LEGO Batman 76252 Batcave.

3 – A vehicle

We’re not sure what era of Batman the rumoured set could be based on and it may be beneficial for the build to not include a vehicle provided other reported models can fill in the gap appropriately. However, it’s entirely possible that this will be a more generic take on the caped crusader and that other rumours may not be accurate.

The current range of LEGO DC sets only includes a couple of vehicles that may be appropriately sized with 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn and 76181 Batmobile: The Penguin Chase. The rumoured 76252 Batcave may be best to include one of Batman’s vehicles, especially for the high price, to accommodate those who are new to the theme.

2 – Lighting

With rumour of the reported Batcave being fully enclosed, a light brick or two to highlight certain areas of the set may blend well with the surrounding pieces making the interior potentially too dark to see otherwise.

Provided the rumoured set is fully enclosed with no way to remove the enclosing element, a light or two may be more of a necessity than a preference to properly see the details.

1 – Alfred

Alfred has been present in almost every LEGO Batcave set so far and they’re the most common appearance of the loyal butler.

With that in mind, we’d love to see a new minifigure for Alfred in the reported 76252 Batcave, potentially with more printing and details than previous iterations of the character.
