Time is running short for the LEGO Ideas Spider-Man contest

Your chance to win a copy of LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle and some Spider-Man sets is almost over as the deadline for the LEGO Ideas contest draws near.

Builders who are still working on their entries for one of the most recent LEGO Ideas competitions themed to the web-slinging hero might want to wrap them up as the judging will begin from June 22. Entries must be a comic book cover for an original adventure for the superhero with a brick-built or otherwise unique design.

The requirements for the contest are somewhat restrictive as the cover cannot be a recreation of an existing book, so you’ll need to be quite creative to stand out amongst the 355 entries submitted so far.

Two categories are open for the competition with one for brick-built submissions and another for artistic entries. The grand prize winner for each will come away with a hefty prize package containing 76178 Daily Bugle, 76187 Venom, 76199 Carnage and a Spider-Man Premium Format Figure by Sideshow.

As a result of the partnership with Marvel, there are quite a few guidelines to be aware of for the LEGO Ideas contest so make sure to check the full list before you submit your entry on the official webpage.

Builders not confident they’ll have an entry ready in time but still wanting to get their webs on a copy of 76178 Daily Bugle can rest assured as the biggest LEGO Marvel set yet is available now. A designer video has also been released exploring the multi-storey model.
