Vote for future LEGO set ideas with Brick Fanatics
Brick Fanatics readers have the opportunity to help inform the LEGO Group’s future gift with purchase sets.
The LEGO Community Engagement team recently asked Recognised LEGO Fan Media, including Brick Fanatics, to contribute ideas for future ‘gift with purchase’ sets – the items that customers get for free at the LEGO Store when spending a certain amount of money.
Brick Fanatics readers generously shared their suggestions, and now readers are invited to narrow down the choices. Please choose your favourite option from the list below – just one – and comment below this Facebook post. If you don’t use Facebook, please e-mail [email protected] with the subject line ‘GIFT WITH PURCHASE’ and your choice in the body of the e-mail. The five most popular choices will be passed to the LEGO Group.
Remember – just choose one of the suggestions from the list below! The deadline is 11.59pm on Saturday, September 28.
- LEGO Star Wars Build a Droid – an assortment of droid parts that can be mixed and matched.
- LEGO Star Wars Zuckuss minifigure
- Micro-scale LEGO Star Wars builds – i.e. locations, environments and ships built on a tiny scale.
- LEGO Star Wars Dark Forces Moldy Crow set
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Buildable Iron Man helmet
- Re-releases of the Collectible Minifigures – a minifigure greatest hits.
- Mini builds of favourite themes –past LEGO sets like LEGO Explorers or Space etc to give consumers and AFOLs a chance to relive and enjoy the history of the LEGO Group.
- 18th Century Military Drummer
- Monthly build a scene
- Exclusive minifigures with a small buildable environment set for the various brand lines.
- LEGO steampunk sets
In case anyone is interested, a great number of submissions came in for specific LEGO Star Wars characters. The LEGO Group already produce exclusive minifigures for the Star Wars theme regularly as gift with purchase item, so all of the LEGO Star Wars minifigure submissions were narrowed down to the most requested character, which was Zuckuss.
