What if LEGO DC 76274 Batmobile was black?
A newly-revealed LEGO DC Batmobile based on Batman: The Animated Series has confused some who were expecting a darker vehicle.

76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze is one of a few sets that were recently revealed in early reviews for the LEGO DC summer 2024 sets, continuing the 2024 range of sets based on Batman: The Animated Series following 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City.
The new batmobile is dark blue, different to most other LEGO Batmobiles and not quite how it appears in the animated series, though it’s not completely black either in the show. Still, some enthusiasts online have wondered what 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze might look like in a different colour scheme.
Instagram user Itavixbrix has had that same thought and showcased what the dark blue build might look like as a black Batmobile instead.
While it looks closer to its appearance in the animated series, it’s still not quite perfect. Complete accuracy might require a much darker shade of blue to be devised and at least in the official colour scheme, it matches the Batmobile featured in 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City.
The edited image serves to showcase what could have been for LEGO DC and whether you prefer 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze in black or blue, the set is expected to be released later this year.
An official reveal for 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze and the rest of the LEGO DC summer 2024 sets has yet to arrive, though it may be around the corner as many other summer models have been revealed lately.
