The LEGO Batman Movie gets a VR experience
As part of the promo campaign for The LEGO Batman Movie’s home entertainment release over the next couple of months, IGN has published a ‘VR experience’ that immerses fans into the plastic version of Gotham.
Pop on a VR headset and you’ll be able to take a trip into the Batcave, ride in the Batmobile and Batplane, battle some of Batman’s arch enemies and celebrate with his allies. If you don’t have a VR headset, however, you can still check out the four minute experience as a 360-degree video.
Head over to IGN’s Facebook page to experience it for yourself. While it’s nothing groundbreaking in the world of VR, it’s still fun to see Warner Bros. taking advantage of the technology.
The LEGO Batman Movie will be released on Digital HD on May 19, followed by a DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release on June 13.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
