LEGO Star Wars Clone Troopers and Hoth accessory packs confirmed
The LEGO Group’s building instructions server has confirmed the existence of two rumoured LEGO Star Wars accessory packs, with a full reveal potentially coming later today.
Listings for both 40557 Defence of Hoth and 40558 Clone Trooper Command Station have appeared on the building instructions portal, and while there are no images available yet, they at least confirm rumours of the two blister packs coming our way in 2022.
The latest reports suggest the Empire Strikes Back-themed pack will include three rebel troopers, accompanying the recent launch of 75313 AT-AT and the upcoming 75320 Snowtrooper Battle Pack and 75322 Hoth AT-ST.
The source material for the other pack is a little trickier to pin down: initial rumours suggested it’s based on Attack of the Clones, but recent updates have pointed to minifigures of Commander Cody and Captain Rex in their Phase 1 gear. That means it may actually be based on the Clone Wars TV series.
Either way, we won’t have to wait too long to find out, as recent precedent set by LEGO Star Wars, Marvel, Monkie Kid and Harry Potter sets means we’ll probably be seeing a full reveal through LEGO.com later today. Keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for the first images as we get them.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
