48 projects qualify for the first LEGO Ideas 2024 review

The qualifying window for the first LEGO Ideas 2024 review has just closed, with a total of 48 different projects making the cut.

From Spirited Away and Interstellar to Metallica and Shrek, this review phase is full of recognisable third-party properties – but it’s also packed with original ideas too, including rocks, flowers, medieval builds and even a great big cow. In short: variety is once again the order of the day, as it is so often with LEGO Ideas reviews.

You can check out all 48 projects in this review stage in the table below. Hit the links on each one to check them out in more detail.

It’s all happening for LEGO Ideas at the moment, too: 21349 Tuxedo Cat has just been unveiled ahead of a June release, while the LEGO Group has also recently announced the results of the third 2023 review, with two projects getting the green light and a third still under consideration. Those include a minifigure gumball machine and a vintage steamboat.

We’ll find out the results of the first 2024 review this autumn. Projects that reach 10,000 votes between today and September 2 will qualify for the second 2024 review.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
