LEGO Ideas welcomes another fine mess with Laurel & Hardy Theatre

Two comedy legends in one gag-packed set have now joined the first LEGO Ideas review of 2024, as Laurel & Hardy Theatre receives 10K support.

The first LEGO Ideas review of 2024 is fit to bursting at the moment, with more than 40 fan-made submissions jostling each other to become future physical sets. All of the brick-built designs are still in with a chance of succeeding though, as they’ve managed to earn a spot in front of the judges thanks to each model hitting the 10,000 supporters’ mark.

The latest original creation to join the existing line-up is Laurel & Hardy Theatre, the brainchild of silgio. This is the first LEGO Ideas model submitted by the designer and it looks like he might be off to a flying start.

Laurel & Hardy Theatre is based around the two iconic comedians who were huge stars from the 1920s to 1950s, appearing in 107 films and renowned for their famous slapstick gags and pratfall routines. The iconic duo has now been immortalised in plastic thanks to the latest LEGO Ideas build, one that features a theatre with three interchangeable scenes, hidden areas for alternate heads, props and accessories, a commemorative base with car and minifigures of Laurel and Hardy themselves.

We’ll find out if Laurel & Hardy Theatre is a hit or not when the results of the first LEGO Ideas review of 2024 are revealed sometime later this year,
