LEGO Ideas Medieval Inn by the Gatehouse hits the 10K mark

There’s a distinct ye olde medieval theme in the air at the moment, especially considering the latest LEGO Ideas submission to have hit 10K.

We’ve seen a number of LEGO sets featuring medieval models of late, possibly suggesting that a number of creative minds are all thinking alike. Last week saw the official reveal of 10332 Medieval Town Square, as well as Mountain Fortress selling out as part of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 line-up.

Now comes the latest LEGO Ideas submission to reach 10,000 supporters, with yet another set harking back to classic Castle models of yesteryear. Medieval Inn by the Gatehouse has been carefully crafted by _nightbricks_ and sits on a 32x32 baseplate, complete with grey brick exterior, wooden columns, a keep, a mini market and more to construct.

The LEGO Ideas submission also includes multiple minifigures such as the Red Lion and Blue Trout Knights, as well as a mercenary, an innkeeper and a merchant. The completed model would make an ideal companion build for 10332 Medieval Town Square, 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and Mountain Fortress, assuming you have the space to display them all that is.

However, we’ll have to wait until later this year to see if Medieval Inn by the Gatehouse makes it through the latest review process. Submissions for the first LEGO Ideas review of 2024 are still trickling in and the results of which models will become physical sets won’t be known until sometime in the fourth quarter.
