LEGO Ideas Crescent Moon Rock Sculpture carves out 10K supporters

The latest fan-made LEGO Ideas design to reach the 10,000 supporters mark is the tranquil and striking Crescent Moon Rock Sculpture.

The ranks of the first LEGO Ideas review of 2024 continue to welcome new fan creations, with the most recent being LEGO Canal Houseboat. Now that line-up of models jostling each other to become physical LEGO sets at some point has been bolstered once more in the shape of the unique Crescent Moon Rock Sculpture.

The build has been conceived and constructed by fan designer Nannan and was inspired by a similar sculpture crafted by Mugen Woong. The model took about 20 hours to assemble and features a carved rock formation made from various LEGO pieces, stone stairs, an arched bridge embedded into the landscape, a large tree and a small building

The designer states that Crescent Moon Rock Sculpture has been built to resemble a Chinese scholar’s rock – traditional ornamental rocks dating back to the Tang Dynasty. Nannan hopes that his model will be successful and make it through the first LEGO Ideas review of 2024, ultimately joining the likes of 10281 Bonsai Tree and 10315 Tranquil Garden.

Here’s how the full line-up of fan-built creations is currently looking, with over 40 designs all battling it out for supremacy, and the results expected to be announced sometime later this year.
