Yet another Coraline-inspired set makes it past 10k on LEGO Ideas

After two depictions of the Pink Palace made it into the final LEGO Ideas review of 2023, 2024’s first review is kicking off with yet another version.

This time designed by danielbradleyy, a first-time 10k club member and the winner of the Target x LEGO Ideas Stem Challenge, the latest iteration of the pink building from Coraline has more characters than those that have come before it, featuring Coraline, Other Wybie, Other Mother, Other Father, Mr Bobinsky, and the Cat (although technically the latter there is not a minifigure).

The house itself, although inspired by the same source material from the stop-motion film, features more interior details too, with walls separating the interior rooms and various items from the well-loved movie scattered around the inside, from the two dogs that represent Forcible and Spink to a microfigure that acts as Coraline’s doll.

Of course, having three separate Coraline-inspired LEGO Ideas projects doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a higher chance of one of them getting picked to become a real-life LEGO set. For now, the fate of this and the other designs lies with the LEGO Ideas team. Here’s a reminder of what other sets have already made it past 10,000 supporters in the first 2024 review.
