LEGO Ideas Friends set Central Perk café set teased
The LEGO Group has teased the upcoming LEGO Ideas Friends Central Perk cafe set on social media.
The next set in the LEGO Ideas theme is set to be Friends, based on the classic 1990s sitcom. Its release is likely to be imminent, as the LEGO Group has teased the set with a tweet that includes a LEGO version of a snippet of the show’s opening titles.
Aymeric “Mric76” Fievet came up with the product idea that recreates the interior of Central Perk, the coffee shop where the characters regularly meet and hang out. With the project using 1,719 pieces, there is a good chance that it will be reduced in size for the final model.

“The one with LEGO bricks” looks like it will include the full core cast of characters – Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey – as minifigures, if the tease is anything to by.
LEGO Ideas 21318 Treehouse (review) is the most recent set to be released in the theme.
