First look at LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child
LEGO collectors can get a first look at Star Wars 75318 The Child, the set that recreates Baby Yoda as a brick statue.
Brick Fanatics first shared word of this Baby Yoda set, LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child, back in June. While a few lucky fans could buy it in Luxembourg in August, according to the LEGO Group it is available for everyone to pre-order from LEGO.com now.
MandRproductions has a copy of the set ahead of its October 30 launch date and has provided a review of the set, giving LEGO collectors a first look at the upcoming release.
“At first glance he looks pretty good but when you do look a little bit deeper at it you are going to notice some flaws, but that is expected from any type of recreation of a character like this,” says Ryan. “I think people often focus on what is wrong with something like this but you can never expect anything like this to be perfect.”
The 1,073 piece set measures almost 20cm tall and includes a tiny figure of the Child and a buildable display plaque. It is priced at £69.99 in the UK, $79.99 in the USA and €77.97 in Germany.
