Five future LEGO The Muppets Collectible Minifigures we want to see
With the official reveal of LEGO 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures, here are five additional characters we want to see released.
The long-rumoured LEGO 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures have been officially revealed today, bringing 12 classic Jim Henson creations to the theme. Each minifigure includes character-specific accessories in a blind bag and will retail for around £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 each.
Now that the full range has been announced, we’re hoping the latest LEGO Collectible Minifigures will sell well enough to justify a second series of The Muppets. If it does, here are five more characters that we want to get our hands on:
5. Lew Zealand
One of the more obscure characters in The Muppets, Lew Zealand is usually seen promoting his Boomerang Fish act. This involves throwing a fish away… and waiting for it to return.
4. Floyd Pepper
Hippie bass player of The Muppets band, The Electric Mayhem, Floyd is a totally laid-back musician. He’s also one of three characters we need to complete the full line-up of the group.
3. Dr. Teeth
This green-skinned character is the lead singer and keyboardist of The Electric Mayhem. His famous gold tooth was supposedly fashioned by melting down his own gold records.
2. Zoot
Shades-wearing Zoot rarely communicates, preferring to let his saxophone speak for him. He usually played the final off-key note at the end of The Muppet Show’s credits.
1. Scooter
Although glimpsed on Waldorf’s computer screen in 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures, stage manager and gofer Scooter is a noticably absent from the first series. This would make the character a must-have for any potential future releases of The Muppets in the Collectible Minifigures theme.
LEGO 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures is set to release on May 1 and will be available from LEGO.com and in stores.

What about Sam the Eagle and Rizzo the Rat? And it was Gonzo that played the dud note, not Zoot.
