Add a LEGO minifigure to Marvel’s Spider-Man now

You can now play as a LEGO minifigure in Marvel’s Spider-Man thanks to a mod giving us the opportunity we didn’t know we needed.

A LEGO minifigure is now playable, for better or for worse, in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC thanks to a mod by reza825.

For those wondering what a minifigure would look like in the game or about to play through it again before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, this mod could provide an interesting twist for a second or third playthrough.

The custom minifigure in the mod is based on the sequel, not the same as the official, limited-edition minifigure for the first game.

A video highlighting the mod has been shared to Twitter by L3tThereBeGames, and suffice it to say the minifigure doesn’t look quite as fluid as the standard Spider-Man model when it’s moving.

Still, it offers an exceedingly different experience than playing the game normally and it reminds us of the LEGO minifigure mod for Star Wars: Battlefront II.

You can download the mod now from Nexus Mods, or otherwise appreciate the absurdity of it by watching the video and looking through the screenshots. Marvel’s Spider-Man is launching on October 20, 2023, on PlayStation 5.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
