Comparing LEGO Harry Potter’s Hogsmeade stations – nine years apart 

LEGO Harry Potter 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station is the third appearance of a LEGO Hogsmeade station, but a lot has changed. 

Despite not appearing on LEGO.com just yet, clearer images of 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station have surfaced via Smyths Toys. This gives us a closer look at the new Hogsmeade station. 

This is the third build for Hogsmeade station in LEGO Harry Potter’s history, following the two-storey model in 10132 Motorised Hogwarts Express and the much smaller version in 4758 Hogwarts Express. 

With both sets being from 2004, that’s around 19 years of difference, and you can tell by looking at the three stations side-by-side. As 4758 Hogwarts Express’ station is so small, it’s not entirely comparable to the other two models, depicting a single shelter and short platform. 

10132 Motorised Hogwarts Express and 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station’s buildings are closer in appearance, but there’s still a lot that has changed over nearly two decades. The newer Hogsmeade station has only one floor, greenery and a lamppost on the platform. 

While the earlier build has a lamppost on the platform, its two storeys offer a different experience for passengers. Inside, 10132 Motorised Hogwarts Express’ station has a fireplace, table and a till to help serve students. 

The interior of 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station is only on one floor but includes a fireplace and a till. However, it also includes a toilet and what appears to be a post office. 

The level of detail is overall higher in the 2023 model, though with 19 years between the two, that is to be expected. 

The full details of 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station have yet to be confirmed but the Smyths Toys listing states that it is launching on June 1, 2023.
