FIRST LEGO League RePLAY theme and 2020 sets revealed
LEGO Education and FIRST have announced the theme for the 2020/21 FIRST LEGO League competition, as well as the base sets schools will use.
FIRST LEGO League is the annual international competition that sees groups of children compete to find the best robotics solution to a challenge set by LEGO Education and FIRST. RePLAY is the theme for the 2021/21 season and will see students complete tasks related to health, sports, and fitness.
45815 Discover Set is the set for ages 4-6, while 45814 Explore Set is the set for ages 7+.
Registration is open now, ahead of the season launch on August 4.
FIRST LEGO League Discover uses DUPLO bricks and is for ages 4-6, FIRSTLEGO League Explore is for ages 6-10 and FIRST LEGO League Challenge is for ages 9-16. Across the three age brackets, LEGO Education anticipated 500,000 children around the world getting involved.
Students will use LEGO Education WeDo 2.0, LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 and LEGO Education SPIKE Prime to complete the challenge.
