Free LEGO Fortnite outfit available now

Log on to LEGO Fortnite now and you can pick up a completely free skin and a corresponding LEGO style, but it’s only available today.

Fortnite’s annual Winterfest celebrations are now underway. Winterfest takes place in December each year and offers 14 free cosmetic items just for logging into the game each day during the event.

This year’s Winterfest is well underway and it’s the first to take place since the launch of LEGO Fortnite. The permanent mode has relevant gifts in some of the event, including today’s gift. Holiday Boxy is a free skin available today and it comes with a LEGO style but you’ll need to act fast to pick it up.

Tomorrow, this free skin will no longer be available and the Winterfest outfits don’t often become available again once their corresponding day is over. With that in mind all you need to do to redeem it is log into Fortnite on your platform of choice, navigate to the quests tab and select the top-most Winterfest section.

Redeem the gift using the button displayed on your screen and you’ll find Holiday Boxy in your locker shortly after. Then, select the skin as you would with any other and play LEGO Fortnite to see the festive minifigure appear in your world.

This is one of a couple of free LEGO styles available now in LEGO Fortnite, the other of which is related to LEGO Insiders. Winterfest usually includes at least two free skins each year and a second festive outfit has been shown off previously. Whether this will have a LEGO style or be a free gift has yet to be officially confirmed.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
