Hundreds of LEGO sets are scheduled to retire in 2024

As another year starts, it’s time to start tracking the next selection of LEGO sets due to retire, and there are hundreds in the mix for 2024.

Time is ticking for plenty of LEGO sets in 2024 as their days are numbered. The eventual fate for any model is that it will one day retire and no longer be produced. It’s important to pick up any of them that you want to grab before that date arrives.

We’re only at the start of the new year and things are still subject to change and they likely will quite a bit before 2024 is over. That said, we can at least offer an idea of the most notable models currently scheduled to retire at the end of 2024 in our latest YouTube video.

From LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog, the entire first wave of sets is up for retirement including Tails, Amy, Dr. Eggman and Sonic himself. LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts hoping to collect every Ultimate Collector Series model will want to keep an eye on 75205 Mos Eisley Cantina. LEGO Indiana Jones may be over almost as quickly as it began too as all three builds are retiring currently.

You can keep track of any changes to the lengthy list of retiring LEGO sets on our dedicated page, which offers a preview of retiring sets for 2025 and beyond as well. We’ll share any important changes on YouTube and you can subscribe to our channel for more LEGO videos and content to come too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
