LEGO 30653 Batman 1992 polybag now available at Target

US retailer Target has started selling 30653 Batman 1992 online, with the LEGO DC promotional polybag now available to order.

The LEGO DC theme made a minor comeback this summer, with a handful of sets featuring classic versions of the Dark Knight himself. Still available to purchase from that line-up of models are 76224 Batmobile, Batman vs. The Joker Chase, 76265 Batwing: Batman vs. The Joker and the massive 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box.

In addition, a new LEGO DC polybag was also introduced in the shape of 30653 Batman 1992. The small set includes the Michael Keaton version of the character as seen in Tim Burton’s Bat sequel, complete with moulded cape-and-cowl combo from the 1989 sets and an updated logo to reflect the 1992 sequel movie design.

In addition to a new iteration of the Dark Knight, 30653 Batman 1992 also comes with a stone plinth build, which repurposes the gargoyle build from 76139 1989 Batmobile76161 1989 Batwing and 76240 Batmobile Tumbler.

Actually getting hold of the polybag may have proven tricky for some, as the set hasn’t been offered up as a GWP so far. However, Target in the US is now selling 30653 Batman 1992 on its website, with the 36-piece build priced at just $4.99.

That’s certainly a much cheaper way of getting hold of the polybag than by scouring the secondary market, offering fans a great opportunity to pick up the set’s exclusive minifigure without paying over-inflated prices.
